about

In the autumn of 2011 a group of friends attempted to record a 4 track EP in 4 hours or less... This would include the time it took to set up and break down a portable recording setup and manage to actually play all the songs...

The CD you are now reading is the result of that session

Being believers in live performance, this EP was recorded 'as played' to enable us to capture a more spontaneous sound and not 'click-track' the life out of the songs.

The resulting music was then augmented with vocals and expertly mixed by the wonderfully talented and unwaveringly attractive Simon Andrews. This was achieved mostly within the following week making this an unusually rapid self produced EP.

The band would like to thank Simon Andrews for his hard work and patience & Daphne Oram for inventing the machine from which we got our name
